The Sense by MACO wireless sensor range is designed to make windows and doors “smart” by detecting whether they are open or closed and transmitting that status to a connected smart-home system. These sensors are built to support the cross-industry Matter standard, meaning they can integrate with a broad range of smart-home ecosystems, not just proprietary solutions. They are designed for “invisible” mounting integrated into the rebate or profile so they are discreet when closed and minimally intrusive when open and by being wireless and battery-powered, the installation is simple, even on retrofit applications. This sensor is designed to be used in Maco Tilt & Turn windows and can be used in all standard profile geometries. It is designed to be installed in the rebate area of UPVC, timber or aluminium windows.
