ABLOY EL460 Narrow Stile DIN Electric Lock

The Abloy EL460 is a high-security, handle-controlled electric lock designed for narrow profile doors or aluminium doors. It features a solenoid mechanism that controls the external handle, which remains inactive until engaged by an access control system, ensuring secure entry management. The internal handle operates mechanically at all times, providing immediate egress and compliance with safety standards such as BS EN 179 and BS EN 1125 when paired with appropriate hardware. The lock is non-handed, allowing for easy installation on doors of any orientation, and includes a reversible trigger bolt. It offers on-site configurability between fail-safe and fail-secure modes to suit specific security needs. Additionally, the EL460 is equipped with monitoring capabilities for bolt position, door status, and handle operation, facilitating integration with security systems.
